Supply Chain Charter

This charter outlines the code of conduct for us and the members of our supply chain.  These standards are expected from all parties involved H McLarnon & Son Ltd and our supply chain.

 H McLarnon & Son Ltd’s Supply Chain includes, but is not limited to:

  • Material suppliers
  • Equipment hire companies
  • Haulage companies utilised in the transport of materials to site
  • Any sub-contactors that H McLarnon & Son Ltd may employ during a contract
  • Any consultants contracted by H McLarnon & Son Ltd during a contract

Health & Safety Expectations:

  • All parties within our supply chain are expected to be properly trained and competent in their field of work and, upon request, be able to supply appropriate documentation of training.
  • All parties within our supply chain are expected to by fully insured for their field of work and be able to submit a copy of their insurances to us.
  • All suppliers of materials or hire equipment are expected to have their goods fully tested and inspected for safe use prior to use on site and must be able to submit a copy of inspection paperwork to us upon request.
  • All subcontractors and/or site visitors are expected to abide by H McLarnon & Son Ltd’s site rules at all times.
  • All subcontractors are expected to submit their Health & Safety Policy to us prior to commencement of a project.
  • All subcontractors are expected to submit risk assessments and method statements for their scope of works prior to commencement of a project.
  • All subcontractors are expected to familiarise themselves with H McLarnon & Son Ltd’s Health & Safety Policy, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • All members of the “H McLarnon & Son Ltd – Supply Chain” partnership are required to report any accidents, near misses or breaches of our health and safety to H McLarnon & Son Ltd head office as soon as is safely possible.

Environmental Expectations;

The following Environmental standards are expected from all parties within our supply chain:

  • To produce, upon request, an environmental policy
  • To comply with legislation (UK and ROI)
  • Careful planning prior to works in order to eliminate, reduce, reuse and recycle waste.
  • All subcontractors are expected to familiarise themselves with H McLarnon & Son Ltd’s Environmental Policy. 

Quality Expectations:

The following quality standards are expected from all parties within our supply chain:

  • The Provision of accurate and up to date information regarding goods supplied
  • The submission, upon request, of Quality Policy
  • Timely and efficient attendance to snagging and/or defects
  • All subcontractors are expected to familiarise themselves with H McLarnon & Son Ltd’s Quality Policy
